Remote Scrum Master

Insight Global's client is hiring a temporary Scrum Master to come in and help realign one of their software engineering teams. Resource will need to facilitate scrum events, identify areas for continuous improvement, coach team on Agile Scrum practices, collaborate cross functionally with teams and leadership, and help manage project scope.
Facilitating scrum events (sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint review, sprint retrospective, ceremonies).
Ensuring team is following scrum practices and guidelines (per set methodology).
Coaching team on Scrum and Agile practices.
Promoting continuous improvement within team.
Identifying needs, trends, tasks, milestones, and managing scope.
Conduct individual stand up with specific team members.
Collaborate cross functionally with IT, engineering, product, and business teams.
Stakeholder engagement.
Work within JIRA creating user stories, roadmap development flows.
Teach teams how to create reports, use platform effectively, etc.
Present findings to leadership team on project scope, deadlines, and updates.

Must Haves:

4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master (person needs to come in and hit the ground running).
Experience in software engineering environment - collaborating with engineers, SDETS, BSA, product owners.
Agile methodology experience.
Experience facilitating scrum events (sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint ceremonies, etc.)
Strong leadership and presentation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
Experience with MS Teams, Confluence, and JIRA.
Strong ability to work remotely.
Ability to use their own computer/equipment (due to immediate start date).

CSM (Certified Scrum Master).
Healthcare or staffing industry experience.
Local to Salt Lake City, UT.
