Insight Global is seeking a Senior System Safety Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity to work on a unique government contract. As a Senior System Safety Engineer, you will work with a high-performing team providing technical, engineering, and administrative expertise to the government customer, ensuring the weapon system remains a reliable and effective nuclear deterrent. You will help to identify ensure the systems in plance keep the persons, facility, and equipment meets safety codes. This cross functional team has a vast presence among the entire weapon system supporting both ground systems and guidance navigation.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Eligible candidates must be able to acquire a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
7+ years of professional experience
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in safety or mechanical or systems engineering from an ABET-accredited school or 10+ years of professional experience
Familiarity with U.S Military safety requirements, technology, and technical data
Familiarity with Weapon Systems Safety
Experience presenting to stakeholders
Active Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional Certification
Active Secret Clearance
