Job Description

An employer in Salt Lake City is looking for a Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician to join their team on a part-time (3 day a week) basis. This person will be working directly with a field office of insurance agents and management level associates to provide support to those employees dealing with IT issues. They will will help ensure timely resolution of problems and escalate issues on behalf of customers to appropriate personnel. This employee will be the only in-person IT support in this office of 70 people, so a strong ability to communicate and balance both virtual tickets and walk-ups is crucial.



This is a large Insurance company who grows by acquisition, and has a lot of locations around the US. This person will be a part time employee, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office, and the salary for this role is listed at anywhere from $25-30/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of professional experience



Ability to support large scale PC refresh



Ability to upgrade to newest version of Windows



Familiar with Autopilot and Intune



O365 Support Experience



Understanding of Active Directory
