An employer located in Spring, TX is looking for a Windows Developer to join their Thin Client team to support their pre-existing on prem desktop application. This person will be maintaining this application called "thin update" which consumes data from the companies repository so that it will enable the device to know when there are updates and refreshments needing to be made. The ideal candidate must have experience maintaining, debugging and enhancing using either C/C# or C++. This person will also need to understand how windows desktop applications interact with API's. This person can sit fully remote.
3-6 years' experience developing windows desktop applications.
Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing WPF applications in C# that interacts with or consumes C++ library (unsafe operation in C#, marshalling, etc)
Strong understanding windows API (winAPI)
Experience with Windows Registry, WMI, WPF, or Win 32
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
