Remote Java Security Developer

Insight Global is looking for a Java Security Developer. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, develop, implement, and test designated high-volume, low latency Java software for mission-critical systems requiring high-availability and performance. Work Collaboratively and provide technical assistance and detailed program information to product mangers, analysts, and support specialists. Accountable for anticipating needed modifications, researching and analyzing application requirements, and resolving technical issues escalated by support specialists.

- 5 years of experience developing in Java 8. They will be scanning Java code for security holes using Contrast, reporting vulnerabilities, review Java code, and remediate security vulnerabilities.

- 5 years experience with standard SQL language. Using hibernate to format SQL strands to execute in secure manner.

- Ability to provide mentorship and leading efforts to jr developers and provide training as needed

- Experience working in a modified SCRUM/Agile environment

- Experience developing web-based applications deployed to JBoss application server 7.X (EAP)

- 70% backend development using Java8 and SQL

- 30% frontend development using HTML, Java Script, JSON, XML, AJAX

- Unit testing experience using JUnit

- IDE experience using IntelliJ

- API testing using Postman
