Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Java Developer that has experience working with EAP JBoss. This candidate would have experience troubleshooting and resolving issues on the JBoss application server and related to Authentication, Authorization, Logins, End-User Web Content, Web Server and to include Java out of memory, Heap, application workflows, service to service communication, data flows/issues, external app-to-app integration points.
Required Skills & Experience
· 5 years' experience administering with Java 8. They will be scanning Java code for security holes using Contrast, reporting vulnerabilities, review Java code, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
· 5 years' experience with standard SQL language. Using hibernate to format SQL strands to execute in secure manner.
· Ability to provide mentorship and leading efforts to jr developers and provide training as needed
· Experience working in a SCRUM/Agile environment
· Experience developing web-based applications deployed to JBoss Application Server 7.x (EAP).
· Experience in Planning, Installing, Configuring, Administering, Patching, Tuning, Troubleshooting, and Integrating JBoss Application Server, Apache, Http Server
· Experience with administering EAP with threading, hypervisor, and CVE service tickets
· Experience with configuring web-based applications troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
· Experience with configured resource like: JDBC providers; JDBC Data Sources; and Message Queues in JBoss application servers.
· Experience configuring the Elytron Subsystem for secure string replacement in configuration files.
· Experience working on problem tickets (RMRs) with RedHat to find effective solutions to various problems and performance issues.
· Experience interpreting log files to locate and solve problems such as tracing and debugging facilities.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Unit testing experience using JUnit
· IDE experience using IntelliJ
· API testing using Postman
