DMZ Network Engineer Lifecycle Management

Insight Global is seeking a technical DMZ network engineer responsible for lifecycle management of DMZ Network Infrastructure. This Engineer will provide planning direction and oversight to lifecycle refresh program and assist with technical engineering associated with network device replacements and upgrades.

Required Skills:

* 7-10 years industry experience with technology domain experience

* Self-starter who takes initiative, requires minimal supervision, and demonstrates leadership skills to get the job done

* Network engineering experience with DMZ/Perimeter environments

* Must have solid routing, switching experience including Cisco Nexus and Arista with solid understanding of TCP/IP networking including BGP, OSPF, Multicast, QOS, & IPSEC

* Knowledge and/or experience with network virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)

* Experience with scripting languages

* Technology degree or substantial equivalent experience



Desired Skills:

* Experience in large and complex enterprise network environments

* Experience with automation and development of automation scripts. Python experience desirable.

* General experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection, threat mitigation

* Experience Network Security Vulnerability assessments and remediation

Mandatory 3 days a week onsite at any of these locations:

- Richmond, VA

- Richardson, TX

- Charlotte, NC

- Waltham, MA

- Hopewell, NJ
