Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Infrastructure Resiliency Manager for a Fortune 50 client in Plano, TX. This resource will be responsible for overseeing two major projects centered around disaster recovery, infrastructure, applications, and data centers to assess resiliency and build high availability within their environment. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the current environment to design and solution a new disaster recovery plan for roughly 300 manufacturing and distribution sites. Continually, this role will be responsible for executing and implementing the design across the entire environment including the applications, operating systems, networks, and infrastructure. The Infrastructure Resiliency Manager will be responsible for interacting with stakeholders and 10+ managed service vendor teams over infrastructure, applications, disaster recovery, data centers, and networks. This individual will implement project plans, and administer testing, automation schedules, tabletops, dry runs, and fail overs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of infrastructure, networks, applications, data centers, servers, and IT operations and be able to drive forward complex enterprise level projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working as a technical project or program manager leading complex projects/teams
- Experience solutioning and designing large scale disaster recovery plans
- Experience running resiliency analysis and implementing the outcome into a disaster recovery plan
- Background working in a technical infrastructure environment (compute, databases, network, cloud)
- Knowledge of infrastructure, networks, applications, data centers, IT operations, storage, etc. (understanding of how the entire environment operates)
- Experience managing 3rd party managed service teams and stakeholder relationships
- Experience using project management tools (Jira, Clarity, ADO, Confluence, Rally, etc.)
