Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Forward Deployment Engineer focused on AI, Data Engineering & Integrations to support a leading enterprise healthcare organization within its Analytics & Behavioral Change organization. This team serves as a centralized analytics and technology partner, delivering innovative solutions across Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and Specialty Pharmacy operations.

The engineer will join a strategic initiative focused on Agent IQ, an enterprise GenAI platform designed to automate and augment key healthcare workflows through intelligent, agent-based experiences. Agent IQ supports use cases across pharmacy appeals, network operations, fraud detection, operational decision support, and other critical business functions.

This role is focused on deploying AI solutions into real business environments by connecting agents, data platforms, enterprise applications, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in AI engineering, data engineering, and systems integration with a strong ability to solve complex business problems and deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead deployment and implementation of Agent IQ solutions across business functions and operational workflows
- Design and build scalable agentic architectures that connect AI models with enterprise systems, business processes, and data platforms
- Develop data pipelines and integration frameworks that enable real-time and batch access to enterprise data sources
- Design and implement RAG pipelines, vector search architectures, and knowledge retrieval systems
- Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and orchestration frameworks that support AI-powered workflows
- Partner closely with product owners, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions
- Drive integrations with enterprise platforms including RxClaim, Salesforce, SAP, CRM platforms, document repositories, and internal operational systems
- Lead architecture discussions and guide engineering best practices for deployment, observability, security, and scalability
- Develop and optimize multi-agent workflows that automate decisioning, recommendations, and business operations
- Establish monitoring, logging, evaluation, and governance frameworks for AI applications in production environments
- Contribute to technical roadmap planning and execution within an Agile squad model

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in Python, data engineering, enterprise integrations, and AI solutions
- Strong experience building agentic AI workflows and multi-agent orchestration frameworks
- Advanced prompt engineering and evaluation skills
- Expert-level Python development experience building production-grade applications and services
- Strong SQL expertise, including query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience designing and building enterprise-scale data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and workflow orchestration solutions
- Hands-on experience developing APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and event-driven architectures
- Experience integrating and deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments including model orchestration, routing, function calling, and structured outputs
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP, or similar agent frameworks
- Experience designing and implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, embedding strategies, chunking methodologies, and retrieval pipelines
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, Vertex AI Vector Search, or pgvector
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems such as CRM platforms, ERP applications, operational databases, and document repositories
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions, including OAuth2 and service-to-service authentication
- Strong knowledge of containerization and cloud-native deployment practices using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure
- Experience implementing observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, and AI application telemetry
- Experience with automated testing, including PyTest, integration testing, and load testing
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas/Irving at least one day per week
