Job Description
Insight Global is seeking several Equipment Decommissioning & Cable Installation Technicians to support a semiconductor manufacturing project in Austin, TX. This is a project focused on safely disconnecting, decommissioning, and removing specialized manufacturing equipment from a production environment.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work. Candidates with backgrounds in automotive repair, maintenance, manufacturing, construction, cable installation, or technical labor are encouraged to apply.
Technicians will work alongside experienced team leads and follow established procedures to safely disconnect utilities, remove cabling, and assist with moving equipment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 1 year os experience in technician work
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and safety procedures.
- Comfortable performing hands-on physical work.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment components as needed.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in automotive repair, maintenance, manufacturing, construction, cable installation, or equipment assembly/disassembly.
- Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, or technical environments.
- Experience pulling cable or working around electrical/mechanical systems.
