Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an HCM Platform Operations Manager for a client in the construction industry. This person will lead the ongoing administration, governance, support, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Workday HCM platform and related HR technology solutions. The role will oversee a team of Workday professionals across reporting, security, integrations, and platform operations, ensuring the environment remains stable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This leader will partner closely with HR, Payroll, HRIS, IT, Finance, vendors, and implementation partners to support Workday releases, platform enhancements, data governance, security administration, integrations, and operational support. The ideal candidate is a strong people manager with enough Workday ecosystem knowledge to effectively guide technical and functional resources, ask the right questions, manage priorities, and ensure the team can successfully support both current operations and future innovation. This role is best suited for someone who is collaborative, even-keeled, accountable, and comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience supporting Workday or enterprise HCM platforms
- 3+ years of people leadership, resource management, consultant management, or team leadership experience
- Strong understanding of Workday platform operations across reporting, security, integrations, releases, administration, and governance
- Experience partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders
- Experience with change management, release management, platform governance, and operational support
- Comfortable leading in ambiguity and balancing innovation with day-to-day operational support
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Workday certifications in HCM, Reporting, Security, Integrations, Payroll, or related areas
- Experience supporting large, complex, multi-state or multi-company environments
- Background in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or other operationally complex industries
- Experience managing vendor performance, implementation partners, consultants, or third-party service providers
- Prior experience building or scaling an HCM platform operations team
