Job Description
Our client is undertaking a large-scale Epic Refuel (Back-to-Foundation) initiative focused on standardizing workflows, reducing customization, improving operational efficiency, and aligning the organization with Epic Foundation best practices. As part of this multi-year transformation, we are seeking experienced Epic Informaticists to partner with operational, clinical, and technical teams to drive workflow optimization, operational alignment, and adoption of future-state Epic workflows.
This individual will serve as a liaison between end users, operational leadership, and Epic application teams, helping stakeholders evaluate current-state workflows, design future-state processes, and ensure Epic functionality supports organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines strong operational and clinical workflow knowledge with Epic experience and a passion for process improvement.
18+ month engagement
Primarily remote
On-site one week per month

Required Skills & Experience
Epic certification in one or more Epic applications.
5+ years of healthcare operations, clinical informatics, Epic application, or workflow optimization experience.
Experience supporting Epic implementations, optimizations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of clinical, operational, or revenue cycle workflows.
Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and workflow design discussions.
Ability to analyze operational challenges and recommend process improvements.
Experience collaborating with Epic analysts, trainers, project managers, and operational leadership.
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to influence decisions across clinical, operational, and technical teams.
