Job Description
A logistics employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Carrier Support Specialist to join their carrier sales team. This team is responsible for cultivating and managing carrier relationships to provide operational efficiency for the company's clients. On a daily basis, this person will be responsible for supporting carrier sales representatives on their daily tasks and operations. These responsibilities will include: follow up on carrier tasks, processing paperwork, tracking active transit, providing updates to the carrier sales team on changes and escalations. This is a fast-paced and high-volume environment, so this person must be very organized and have a pro-active attitude to provide updates and communicate efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience in a sales or customer service role (such as food service, bar tending, etc)
Ability to perform tasks in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
Experience utilizing Microsoft office tools such as: Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational and note-taking skills
Willingness to learn
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
Experience in the logistics industry
