Job Description
This engineer will lead installation engineering activities across tenders, FEED studies, and project execution for offshore subsea developments. The individual will serve as the primary technical installation engineering focal point, partnering closely with project management, engineering disciplines, procurement teams, vessel operations, and external clients to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities include tender development, installation methodology creation, constructability reviews, risk assessments, installation procedure development, and offshore execution support. Strong communication skills are required as this role regularly interfaces with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Day to Day:
Lead installation engineering activities for tenders, FEED studies, and offshore projects.
Develop and execute installation procedures for subsea equipment installations.
Support tendering efforts, including ITT reviews, schedules, estimates, and risk registers.
Lead constructability reviews and installation risk assessments.
Act as the primary technical liaison for project teams, clients, and offshore operations.
Support procurement, vessel operations, and offshore execution activities.
Review equipment and methodologies to ensure safe and efficient installation.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of offshore installation engineering experience supporting subsea construction projects.
8+ years of experience developing installation procedures and execution methodologies for offshore SURF and/or SPS projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, Offshore, Structural, Marine, or related Engineering discipline.
Strong experience supporting installation of subsea equipment including manifolds, jumpers, piles, mud mats, flowlines, risers, umbilicals, or related systems.
Experience leading constructability reviews, readiness reviews, and installation risk assessments.
Strong understanding of offshore industry codes and standards including DNV standards (DNV-ST-N001 preferred).
