Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Compliance to lead and oversee export control, regulatory compliance, and risk management programs across semiconductor and defense-related operations. This individual will serve as the subject matter expert for ITAR and EAR classifications, ensuring compliance with U.S. export regulations while supporting business growth and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise-wide compliance programs related to ITAR, EAR, export controls, and trade regulations.
Oversee product and technology classification activities, licensing requirements, and regulatory audits.
Partner with engineering, operations, legal, and executive leadership to ensure compliance across semiconductor and defense programs.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, training, and risk mitigation strategies to maintain regulatory adherence.
Act as the primary liaison with government agencies and support internal and external compliance reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of compliance, export controls, or trade compliance experience.
- Deep expertise in ITAR and EAR classifications, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience within the semiconductor industry and exposure to military, aerospace, or defense programs.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing compliance programs and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. export control regulations, audits, and risk management practices.
