Job Description

A client in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Project Manager/ Business Analyst to join their team. This person will lead and support multiple cross-functional projects across Enterprise Systems, partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors. Responsibilities of this individual are shown below:
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and communications across both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, gathering requirements, documenting processes, and translating business needs into actionable work.
• Coordinate system integrations and data exchange efforts between internal platforms and third-party software solutions.
• Support large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives, helping business teams adapt to new processes, workflows, and system enhancements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, drive project status updates, and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
• Analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend practical solutions that balance business needs and technical capabilities.
• Partner with developers, architects, and support teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve roadblocks, and drive projects to completion.
• Assist with change management activities, including process updates, user support, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
• Track project milestones, action items, and deliverables while ensuring teams remain on schedule and aligned to business objectives.
• Support ongoing enhancements to enterprise platforms and applications, including testing, validation, and implementation activities.
• Work closely with teams supporting web services, APIs, and enterprise integrations to ensure successful delivery of new solutions.
• Navigate a fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently, requiring strong problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
What This Person Will Actually Be Doing
• 50% Project Management / 50% Business Analysis.
• Supporting a variety of Enterprise Systems projects ranging from software implementations and integrations to major business transformation efforts.
• Acting as the "quarterback" between business users, vendors, developers, and leadership.
• Helping drive the company's ongoing financial transformation initiatives, which are impacting processes across multiple functional areas.
• Supporting third-party software rollouts and integrations, ensuring data flows, business processes, and technical requirements are aligned.
• Solving problems in real time and helping teams work through ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must be onsite 5 days a week
• 7-10+ years of PM/BA experience.
• Strong experience in both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven track record managing enterprise software implementations, integrations, and business transformation projects.
• Experience working with APIs, web services, and cross-functional technical teams.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities.
• Strong critical thinking and real-time problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and able to drive incremental improvements rather than "all-or-nothing" solutions.
• Able to discuss practical AI usage and automation opportunities within project delivery and business operations.
