Job Description
An employer is looking for an SDET Engineer to sit remotely. You will be part of the clients ecommerce QA team, focused on testing efforts for their Edge product that is utilized for their in store server environment. You will create/ implement automated tests and utilize the current framework to ensure optimal functionality related to GraphQL APIs, event driven architecture and Pub/Sub interfaces. This will primarily be back end focused but deal with some front end automation as the project advances. You will enhance the automation framework for new/ existing functionality and coordinate testing activities as part of the Agile team. You will identify/ record defects related to the edge product and optimize the APIs/ integrations.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years experience in QA automation/ SDET
Well versed in event driven architecture and related technology- Pub/Sub interfaces- Kafka, MQTT, WebSockets, SSE, etc.
Experience testing GraphQL APIs including writing and maintaining test for complex queries
Strong Typescript/ NodeJS experience for automation with Playwright (UI)
Experience with Appium for mobile testing
Jira or similar texting tools for issue tracking
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Containerization- Docker
Knowledge of Git and CICD pipelines
