Job Description
One of our leading AI companies is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to evaluate, modernize, and scale our compensation strategy for a rapidly evolving AI and cybersecurity organization. We are looking for a strategic leader who can assess our current compensation philosophy, job architecture, leveling framework, benchmarking methodology, and supporting technology ecosystem, while partnering closely with HR and business leaders to define what "best in class" looks like for the next phase of our growth.
This is a discover → assess → recommend → implement engagement. The ideal consultant will bring both deep compensation expertise and a strong understanding of the talent markets that power AI, cybersecurity, software engineering, product development, and go-to-market organizations. The engagement will culminate in actionable recommendations and implementation support with a target rollout aligned to our upcoming merit cycle.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of progressive compensation experience.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing compensation frameworks within software, SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, or AI-focused organizations.
Demonstrated expertise in:
-Job architecture
-Career frameworks
-Job leveling
-Grade structure design
-Market pricing and benchmarking
- Strong understanding of AI, cybersecurity, and software engineering talent markets.
- Experience evaluating and modernizing compensation philosophies and compensation programs.
- Proven track record of taking a compensation program from assessment through implementation.
- Experience supporting annual salary reviews, merit cycles, and compensation planning.
- Ability to synthesize complex market data and communicate recommendations clearly to executives and business leaders.
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills with the confidence to challenge assumptions and provide independent recommendations.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with Mercer, Radford, WTW, or other leading compensation survey providers.
- Experience configuring or administering compensation processes within Workday.
- Experience evaluating compensation technology platforms and workforce analytics tools.
- Background supporting global organizations or multi-geography compensation programs.
- Experience in high-growth AI, cybersecurity, or technology environments.
- Prior consulting experience leading compensation transformation engagements.
