Job Description
The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating patient appointments and treatments in an efficient and timely manner. This position supports a busy oncology practice with a primary focus on scheduling chemotherapy and infusion appointments, managing patient schedules, coordinating referrals and authorizations, and serving as a liaison between patients and clinical staff. The Scheduler supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Pacing Standards
Scheduling 25-30 treatments per day.

Required Skills & Experience
Eperience in a healthcare scheduling environment, preferably in chemotherapy or infusion treatments.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and interruptions.
Experience using scheduling systems, EMR, or related healthcare software.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience scheduling chemotherapy, infusion treatments, or other complex medical procedures.
Experience with insurance authorizations, referrals, or specialty healthcare scheduling.
Oncology experience.
