Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for an engineer that supports the design, operation, and continuous improvement of facilities systems including chemical distribution, process gases, ultra-pure water (UPW), water recycling, wastewater, and process piping. Responsibilities include developing project designs and specifications, evaluating system performance and reliability, conducting FMEAs and root cause analyses, supporting construction and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The role also partners with manufacturing, EHS, and operations teams to optimize system performance, drive energy and water reduction initiatives, implement preventive maintenance programs, and develop KPIs that improve facility reliability, efficiency, and long-term scalability

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience.
· Working knowledge of statistical analysis software.
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills with knowledge or capacity to learn Visual Basic.
· AutoCAD experience.
· EIT or PE is preferred.
· Austin Regional Role. Job role requires the support of two Austin semiconductor factories
· Root cause problem solving skills
· Experience interpreting technical drawings/documents and performing technical analysis or drafting using computer-aided design software
