Network Planning Program Manager

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Program Manager with proven experience leading technology or infrastructure projects using Jira as the primary project management tool. The ideal candidate will be structured, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.The Technical Program Manager will clearly communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans and impacts to senior management and internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Steer teams based on business objectives constantly align resources to those objectives, in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines. Additional responsibilities include;
-Engage and provide critical information to leadership, cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Network Engineering, Optical Engineering, Carrier Management, Deployment, Transport Engineering)
-Directing cross-functional teams and management
-Leading global, multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, change-intensive environments.
-Facilitate regular status meetings, manage risks and issues, and escalate blockers
-Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across a wide range of audiences.
-Confidence and credibility to effectively engage and interact with senior and executive management.
-Hosting senior level leaders and providing status/program updates.
-Craft a compelling messages and tailor it for a given audience.
-Comfortable talking about technical matters with businesspeople and business matters with technical people.
-Express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.
-Manage program/project schedules and associated dependencies, identify issues/risks/actions, and clearly work with key stakeholders to mitigate them.

-5+ years of project management/technical program manager experience in technology, infrastructure, or engineering environments
-3+ years of hands-on experience managing projects in Jira and Smartsheet
-Ability to create and manage projects, boards, filters, dashboards, and reports
-Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
-Familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies
-Proficient in Confluence, Visio, Drawio, MS Teams, and MS Office Suite

-Background in Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure, or Data Center operations
-Experience working in Agile environments with distributed teams
-PMP or similar project management certification or equivalent experience is desirable
