Job Description

Position Summary
Insight Global is hiring for a venture-backed, solid-state photonics company developing high-energy laser and directed energy systems for defense applications. They are building a cross-functional program planning capability to support multiple concurrent product programs and their enabling technology foundation.

The Senior Program Manager / Integrated Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated schedules that align activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Test, and Operations. This role serves as the central coordination point across multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), ensuring that development, manufacturing readiness, procurement, qualification, and delivery activities remain synchronized to meet program and business objectives.

The successful candidate will manage cross-functional dependencies, critical paths, resource constraints, and schedule risks while providing leadership with actionable insights across multiple programs and product lines. We value learning agility and problem-solving instinct over a checklist of prior tools—we are looking for someone who can grow into this role and help us build the function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain an Integrated Primary Schedule (IPS) across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations.
• Coordinate planning and execution activities across multiple product-based Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Establish and manage schedule logic, dependencies, milestones, critical paths, and schedule performance metrics.
• Bridge Agile bottom-up execution (sprint-level) with top-down Waterfall program planning, ensuring IPT-level work rolls up accurately to program milestones.
• Integrate product development, NPI, qualification, procurement, manufacturing readiness, and delivery activities into a unified execution plan.
• Identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and cross-functional conflicts; develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Build and maintain schedule dashboards and reporting tools; comfort with APIs and automation is a plus.
• Develop and present schedule status, KPIs, and executive-level reports to leadership and investors.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and execution processes as the company scales.

Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
