Job Description
The Senior Salesforce Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem to support scalable, secure, and high-performing business operations. This role serves as the senior technical authority for Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrated enterprise platforms.
The Senior Salesforce Architect partners closely with business leaders, IT, Data, Security, and development teams to deliver innovative, enterprise-grade solutions that enhance customer, patient, and provider engagement. This role drives platform strategy, enterprise integrations, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, enterprise architecture experience, and strong leadership capabilities to modernize and optimize client’s Salesforce environment through scalable design, governance, and emerging technologies including generative AI and intelligent automation.
What you’ll be doing:
• Lead the architecture, design, and optimization of enterprise Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related platform technologies.
• Define and maintain Salesforce architecture standards, governance models, security frameworks, and best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Architect and oversee complex integrations between Salesforce, ERP systems, telephony/contact center platforms (e.g., NICE, Revenue.io), marketing automation tools, and third-party applications.
• Design and implement scalable data models, automation frameworks, workflows, Flows, APIs, and integration patterns to support enterprise business processes.
• Lead adoption and governance of AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities, including Salesforce Einstein, Copilot, predictive analytics, and generative AI solutions.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven automation and customer engagement strategies to improve productivity, personalization, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
• Establish and enforce data governance, security controls, and compliance standards across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with HIPAA, GDPR, and enterprise security policies.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable technical architectures and platform roadmaps.
• Lead technical design reviews, solution governance, and architecture decisions across Salesforce projects and enhancements.
• Mentor developers, administrators, analysts, and technical teams by establishing architecture standards, development best practices, and technical guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform performance, automation, AI innovation, and user adoption.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Data, and Application teams to ensure seamless interoperability across enterprise platforms.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience with Salesforce platforms, including architecture, solution design, and enterprise implementations.
• Minimum of 5+ years in a Salesforce Architect or senior technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform architecture.
• Strong experience with Salesforce architecture frameworks, including enterprise integration patterns, governance models, and scalable platform design.
• Experience with Salesforce AI capabilities, including Einstein, Copilot, predictive analytics, and generative AI integrations.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, data privacy, and AI security considerations.
• Expertise with Salesforce automation tools, including Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, and middleware/integration platforms.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems, telephony/contact center platforms, marketing automation tools, and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, master data management, analytics, and reporting frameworks.
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements in regulated industries, including HIPAA and GDPR.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
