Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Platform, DevOps & Data Manager to lead platform engineering, CI/CD, and data operations for a growing global engineering organization. This individual will focus on improving release reliability, operational visibility, and production performance across mission-critical systems while building scalable DevOps and database practices.
Day to Day -
Lead DevOps, platform, and DBA teams
Own CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment management
Establish release standards and operational processes
Improve monitoring, observability, and production reliability
Manage database operations (performance, backup, HA/DR)
Drive automation and reduce manual release processes
Lead incident response and post-incident improvements

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years software engineering experience (hands-on background required)
3+ years managing distributed engineering teams
Experience scaling teams (hiring, onboarding, performance mgmt)
Strong understanding of full SDLC (APIs, DBs, CI/CD, testing)
Experience supporting production systems / release readiness / incident response
Experience working cross-functionally (Product, QA, DevOps, Infra, Security)
Experience with Azure DevOps / Jira or similar tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Azure / AWS / GCP cloud experience
Monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, etc.)
ETL / data pipelines / analytics platforms
Containers / Kubernetes / IaC
DevSecOps or pipeline security exposure
