Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 3 to support a large aerospace client onsite in San Antonio, TX. This individual will support the development and execution of manufacturing plans, work instructions, and technical documentation while ensuring producibility and resolving complex manufacturing issues. This role will collaborate cross-functionally and support build integration milestones in a production environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and technical illustrations
• Analyze design and build concepts to ensure producibility and recommend improvements
• Lead collaboration across teams to support integration and build milestones
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues during production activities
• Identify tooling requirements and support tooling orders
• Create and support installation planning, including shipside support in San Antonio
• Support process and tool improvement initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• 9+ years of related experience
• Experience in an Electrical Manufacturing Engineering role
• Experience with wire bundle fabrication, wiring installation, electrical equipment installation, or wiring provisions
• 3+ years of experience leading teams (formal or informal)
• Experience leading or managing cross-functional projects

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in commercial or military aircraft maintenance and/or modification
• Experience testing and troubleshooting avionics and electrical systems
• Experience using EDA tools (OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, Altium, PSPICE)
• Experience working with WIRS software
