Job Description

An employer is seeking an Automated Test Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX. He or she will be joining a Video Conferencing Engineering team and will design, build, and maintain scalable testing environments that ensure high-quality software delivery across embedded and device-based systems. This role is highly hands-on, with a focus on developing robust automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test infrastructure using modern tooling.
The ideal candidate is a builder, someone who has engineered automation solutions in real-world environments and can independently develop systems to prepare devices, execute tests, and generate actionable reporting.

Key Responsibilities include:

Design, build, and maintain automated test infrastructure and environments
Develop Python-based automation frameworks, libraries, and reusable modules to support testing workflows
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Workflows and/or Jenkins) to:

Prepare test environments/devices
Execute automated test suites
Collect and surface test results/reporting
Work within Linux-based environments, using command-line tools to interact with systems and devices
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve testing reliability and efficiency
Support integration of automated testing into broader development and release processes

This role is onsite 5 days a week near the Domain area and pay is $60 - $65/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience building automation or infrastructure experience

Hands on Python experience building modular, structured code (libraries, packages, frameworks)

Proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines from scratch (GitHub Workflows and/or Jenkins)

Strong comfort with Linux command lines

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience using APIs via Python or similar tools to interact with systems/devices

Android debug experience
