Job Description
Oversees assembly subcontractors installing White Space Modules (hot-aisle containment) in data centers; provides quality control, alignment verification, and adherence to plans. Partners with engineering and project leadership; may act as site lead during leadership absences. Provide QC oversight for hot-aisle containment / White Space Module assembly; verify fit, alignment, and compliance with drawings/specs. Identify and drive remediation for assembly issues: misaligned bolt holes, surface gaps, bowed members/defects, undersized components. Coordinate and direct a 5–10 person assembly crew; sequence work and enforce safety/quality standards. Support related mechanical scopes: chilled-water piping assembly and pressure testing; CDUs; basic electrical interface (e.g., PDUs with whips).

Required Skills & Experience
• 2–5 years mechanical or electrical background in commercial/industrial construction (data centers a plus).
• Hands-on assembly experience with strong attention to structural fit-up and tolerance control.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints; familiarity with strut systems, supports, and cable tray.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Exposure to steel erection/fabrication or general building construction; mechanical contractor experience/exposure.
• Controls/mechanical awareness (e.g., making systems “talk” to owner controls) and basic electrical familiarity.
