Job Description
We are seeking a high-impact Revenue Cycle Program Manager to lead a large-scale strategic initiative focused on denials prevention and revenue optimization within a healthcare system. This individual will operate at a Director level, overseeing multiple complex workstreams and engaging directly with executive leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can drive enterprise-level programs, and is equally comfortable leading strategy discussions as they are executing and operationalizing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership
- Oversee a portfolio of ~13 workstreams, each with dedicated project managers
- Establish and drive governance structures, meeting cadences, and program reporting
- Ensure alignment across teams, leadership stakeholders, and organizational priorities
Strategic Execution
- Lead initiatives aimed at denials prevention and revenue cycle improvement
- Partner with leadership to define program roadmap, KPIs, and success metrics
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across workflows and processes
Stakeholder Engagement
- Interface regularly with C-suite and executive stakeholders
Deliver clear, confident presentations and program updates
- Provide recommendations and challenge assumptions when needed
Operational Oversight
- Support and coordinate monthly onsite program sessions (planning, logistics, facilitation)
- Drive accountability across teams and ensure progress against milestones
Content & Communication
- Develop and refine executive presentations and program materials
- Repackage complex content into clear, actionable insights
- Collaborate with leadership to deliver consistent messaging

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of program management experience, with demonstrated success leading large, complex initiatives
Proven ability to operate at a Director level within enterprise environments
Strong experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional teams
Exceptional executive presence and communication skills
Comfortable working with C-suite stakeholders and influencing decision-making
Experience building governance frameworks, reporting structures, and operating rhythms
Highly skilled in PowerPoint and executive-level presentation development
Strong problem-solving mindset—investigative, analytical, and solutions-oriented
Comfortable providing constructive pushback and challenging the status quo
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience within hospital systems or healthcare organizations (revenue cycle exposure is a plus, but not required)
Background in change management, process improvement, or transformation initiatives
Experience leading large-scale programs (100+ contributors)
