Job Description

The Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day coordination and management of Insight Global contractors assigned to a large-scale telecommunications project within a data center environment. This role is responsible for helping ensure field operations run smoothly by overseeing contractor scheduling, tracking attendance, managing PPE distribution and inventory, and facilitating resolution of on-site issues as they arise. The Project Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact between contractors, site leadership, and internal teams to maintain alignment, accountability, and continuity across the project.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skills

Strong coordination and organizational skills in fast-paced construction or field environments
Ability to manage large contractor teams (technicians, cable pullers, etc.)
Experience tracking scheduling, attendance, and shift coverage
Knowledge of PPE requirements, safety compliance, and site protocols
Strong communication skills — able to interface with contractors, site leadership, and internal teams
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues quickly and escalate when needed
Proficiency in Excel or workforce tracking tools (rosters, timekeeping, reporting)
High attention to detail with documentation, reporting, and accountability tracking
Ability to work independently and maintain structure in a high-volume, high-turnover environment


Requirements

1–3+ years of experience in project coordination, field operations, or contractor management
Experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, low-voltage, or data center construction preferred
Proven experience supporting field teams or workforce operations (scheduling, onboarding, attendance)
Familiarity with job site safety standards and PPE management
Comfortable working on-site full-time in an active data center or construction environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting schedules
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred (construction management, business, or related field)
