The Role (What to Expect):
The Commissioning System Owner is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, tracking, and
reporting all commissioning activities for a specific area or project scope. The system owner will ensure
that all discipline assets are officially handed over for use in the factory, and that the equipment meets
all code, specification, and project requirements.
Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Track Commissioning readiness and plan support for assets going through the construction
phase and attend/support project meetings.
• Ensure that equipment has passed the QA stage and is ready for Commissioning.
• Fill out the Pre-Task Plan, obtain alignment with the Technician, and communicate equipment
needs to the assigned Commissioning/contractor technician while verifying all members have
necessary PPE and testing equipment to ensure readiness for daily activities.
• Coordinate area access and handover preparations with Facilities/Manufacturing, verifying that
installations meet both code and project specification requirements.
• Functional Testing, troubleshooting, and preparing equipment for energization, including
submittal of LOTO removal requests and ensuring all testing activities strictly adhere to SOPs
and safety guidelines.
• Ensure CxAlloy and associated commissioning documentation is complete and stored properly.
Support the review and development of commissioning processes and procedures as needed
and ensure asset is properly handed over to Facilities/Manufacturing.
• Submit daily timesheets and project updates (as required) and actively contribute to continuous
improvement initiatives and assist in training new technicians/supporting contractors.

Required Skills & Experience
Requirements (What You’ll Bring):
• 5-12 years of Mechanical Commissioning Experience.
• In-depth knowledge of construction quality checks, drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in computer and software skills
