Job Description

Insight Global is seeking experienced, hands on Data Center Technicians to support active data center and lab environments. This role requires candidates who can ramp quickly, perform physical data center work, and be productive almost immediately in a fast paced, high expectation environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Candidates must have hands on data center experience, not entry level:
• Proven experience as a Data Center Technician in live/production environments
• Basic networking knowledge (foundational understanding; not a network engineer role)
• Structured cabling experience, including:
• Running cables
• Cable management and organization in racks
• Experience performing physical data center tasks, such as:
• Rack & stack
• Equipment setup and handling
• Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated or tight data center spaces
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to ~49 lbs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in production data center environments
• Familiarity with data center safety practices
• Strong communication skills and on-site coordination
• Comfort with repetitive physical tasks and structured operational work
