Job Description
• The Facilities Surface Planning Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to bring facilities development strategies into an actionable plan for the execution team to ensure operational readiness in the Permian Basin
• Work with Development Teams per Business Units to optimize facilities routing and placement utilizing scenario analysis
• Identifying and planning production facility locations, compressor stations, frac ponds, pipelines, new roads, power line routing and incorporating results into model interpretations for recommendations
• Present finalized plan to internal stakeholders including but not limited to Land & Regulatory, F&C, Power, Electric, Fiber, Production, and Construction teams.
• Conduct review of facility location and infrastructure routing strategy with field personnel, land, regulatory and government agencies
• Coordinate with Development and Asset Production teams regarding base well consolidation projects in order to optimize capital expenditure within ongoing development areas
• The Facilities Surface Planning Engineer will be tasked with working on multiple projects at once across the Permian Basin based on business needs and activity established by the Drilling Rig Schedule and Business Plan outlooks
• The Engineer will be responsible for keeping projects moving forward by resolving obstacles and facilitating the readiness of Oil and Gas infrastructure for all new drills in their area of responsibility

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering
3 years of Upstream Oil and Gas Experience
Skilled in MS Office Suite (Powerpoint,Excel,etc)
Project management oriented and have the ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines
Team oriented, have interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly to multidisciplinary teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with mapping software such as ArcGIS and Google Earth
Experience with programming languages (C++,SQL,etc)
