Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing and dynamic client. This individual will play a high-impact role supporting core accounting functions, including general ledger management, month-end close, and financial reporting. The role will have strong exposure to audit support, internal controls, and revenue recognition, making it ideal for someone with a public accounting or audit background who is CPA eligible and looking to step into a hands-on, business-facing accounting role in a fully onsite environment.
Day-to-Day:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Review contracts and jobs for ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance
- Support and enhance internal control documentation and processes
- Serve as a liaison for external auditors and assist with audit requests
- Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA eligible (CPA or active progress toward CPA strongly preferred)
- 3–5+ years of experience in public accounting, specifically audit, or a mix of public and industry experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition
- WIP reporting or project-based accounting experience
- Experience supporting external audits and managing PBC requests
- Background in internal controls or compliance initiatives
