Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support both real-time and batch data processing. This role will be responsible for developing robust ETL pipelines, modeling complex data structures, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data platforms to support analytics and downstream applications
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and deliver data from multiple sources
Create and manage data models for structured, semi‑structured, and complex data formats
Build and support data ingestion pipelines that handle both real-time streaming and batch processing workloads
Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and scalability across all data solutions
Partner closely with product, engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
Contribute to best practices around data engineering, coding standards, and system architecture
Support cloud-based data solutions and participate in cloud migrations or enhancements as needed

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high‑quality data solutions
Deep expertise in ETL development and data integration best practices
Strong understanding of data modeling, including complex and semi‑structured data formats
Demonstrated ability to design, build, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines supporting both real‑time and batch processing
Proficiency in at least two scripting/programming languages, with Python required; supported by a formal computer science or related technical background and experience with additional programming languages
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and cloud-based data solutions
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or something similar
