Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Manager for one of their top clients in the North Houston area. This Technical Product Manager will be working directly with our clients Sales and Marketing teams and their technology. They will own the technology program enabling commercial growth across the freight forwarding business for our customer. He / She will bridge the sales and marketing organization and our clients engineering and AI teams to deliver tools that help the company win new business, serve customers better, and scale commercial operations. This portfolio blends AI innovation with practical commercial tooling, spanning quoting automation, sales enablement, and long-term commercial platform strategy. Oversee integration of sales tools with core platforms including CRM, quoting engine, rating platform, and TMS. Ensure engineering follows standard patterns; identify capability gaps and advocate for roadmap time to resolve them. They will need to build deep working relationships with the sales leadership and the broader commercial organization. Also, stay current on competitive dynamics in digital freight forwarding, emerging AI sales tools, and CRM ecosystem trends. Serve as the primary voice of the commercial organization within the TPM and engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

-8+ years in product management, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS or logistics technology.

-Experience with CRM platforms, sales automation, or revenue operations technology.

-Strong understanding of freight sales cycles: RFQs, tender management, spot quoting, and contract pricing.

-Hands-on experience with AI

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

applications: ideally LLM-based agents or assistants in a commercial context

Desirable: experience with cloud-based AI/ML tooling; prior experience in freight forwarding or supply chain.
