Job Description
An Insight Global client in the Houston area is seeking a senior SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM / Plant Maintenance) Consultant to serve as the Lead Functional Owner for the SAP EAM module on a large‑scale public‑sector SAP S/4HANA implementation supporting a transportation organization. This role will own the end‑to‑end functional leadership, configuration oversight, and delivery of SAP EAM solutions across the program. The ideal candidate has hands‑on SAP EAM experience in S/4HANA, has completed at least one full end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation, and brings strong experience working within public‑sector and transportation environments. This role is 100% onsite in downtown Houston and requires close partnership with asset, operations, and IT stakeholders. The pay rate range for this position will be anywhere from $95 - $115/hr depending on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM / PM) functional experience
At least one full end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation (ECC → S/4 or greenfield)
Hands‑on configuration experience in SAP EAM (configured environments, not greenfield builds from scratch)
Prior public‑sector experience (government, transit, transportation authorities, utilities, etc.)
Experience supporting transportation or asset‑intensive organizations
Strong understanding of EAM integrations with Finance, Procurement, Projects, and Inventory
Proven experience operating as a module lead on large, cross‑functional SAP programs
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills
