Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Contract Manager to join a top energy company in Houston, TX, supporting the engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple hyperscale, mission-critical data centers across the United States. The role takes ownership of post-award contract compliance, change management, and commercial risk mitigation throughout the full project lifecycle, including early works, phased construction, commissioning, and contract close-out, and has proven experience operating under GMP and progressive GMP delivery models with open-book cost management. The person in this role will align prime and subcontract agreements; advise project team daily on contractual rights, obligations, and risks, manage all contractual correspondence, notices, changes, variations, and claims per contract requirements, administer contracts under GMP, progressive GMP, and cost‑reimbursable models, including contingencies, allowable costs, audits, and reconciliations and lead contract administration staff and maintain accurate, traceable contractual records through project close‑out.

Required Skills & Experience

12-18 years of experience managing large scale construction projects ($300+ million in scope)

12-18 years of experience working for a general contractor or construction company

Experience managing projects with transparent, cost‑tracked budgets (rather than fixed‑price), including working directly with clients during cost reviews, audits, and approvals of contingency use.

5 years of experience delivering contract management for a large-scale data center or mission-critical facility projects from a GC side

Proven capability in understanding contract law, interpreting contract terms and translating them into actionable project guidance

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Law, or Business Administration

Experience with industry-standard contract templates used in North American data centre projects, including AIA, ConsensusDocs, and bespoke owner (hyperscaler) forms, in addition to FIDIC or NEC where applicable

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with project controls systems and cost management principles

Professional certification in Contract or Commercial Management (e.g., MRICS, CICES, or IACCM)
