Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Help Desk Representative to join our clients IT team and provide hands-on technical support at their corporate office in San Antonio, TX.

What You’ll Be Doing

Serve as the first point of contact for IT support by responding to phone calls and emails from users experiencing technical issues
Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, and peripheral issues (desktops, laptops, printers, cables, etc.)
Assist users with everyday technical questions related to operating systems, email, and standard software applications
Diagnose issues by gathering details from users and walking them through step-by-step solutions
Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate IT personnel when needed
Assist with installing, moving, and maintaining computer equipment and cabling as required

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in a Help Desk, IT Support, or similar technical support role
Strong customer service skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical solutions to non-technical users
Working knowledge of basic computer hardware, software, and operating systems
Ability to work hands-on with equipment, including lifting up to 30 pounds
Comfortable bending, kneeling, and working under desks or workstations to install or troubleshoot equipment
Reliability, professionalism, and a team-first mindset

Required Skills & Experience

* 2-4 years of recent relevant experience
* Comp TIA Sec+ or ITIL Foundations certification
* High School Diploma or GED required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's or associate degree in computer science, Information Technology or relevant degree preferred
