Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator for one of our largest retail clients in Houston, TX. This individual will act as a hands-on platform owner responsible for supporting and expanding the ServiceNow ecosystem beyond basic ticketing, with deep involvement in ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, and asset management. The role requires strong admin-level experience across multiple ServiceNow modules, the ability to manage instance health, upgrades, and releases, and sound judgment when working with Flow Designer, business rules, and scripting. This person will partner closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, support both onshore and offshore resources, and help position ServiceNow as a core operational backbone for the organization, with future growth into AI-driven capabilities, HAM/SAM, and SecOps. This position will be 5 days a week onsite in Katy, TX, with half-day Fridays, and the salary will range from $110,000 to $120,000, annually.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience with strong depth in ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, and CSDM, including business service mapping
• Proven admin-level platform ownership across core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) with experience configuring UI policies, business rules, client scripts, workflows, and Flow Designer
• Strong experience supporting and optimizing HAM Pro and SAM Pro, managing full asset lifecycle, compliance, and software spend
• Experience managing platform health including upgrades, releases, performance tuning, data integrity, reporting, and dashboards
• Ability to design, explain, and defend technical decisions (OOTB vs customization; Flow Designer vs Business Rules vs scripting)
• Experience configuring and maintaining integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
• Solid understanding of security controls, compliance requirements, and instance governance
