Job Description
Hours/Shift: 5am-5pm Monday-Saturday
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for handling inbound and outbound materials, verifying shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and safely operating material handling equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments by checking quantities, descriptions, and documentation (Bills of Lading, packing slips, RMAs, invoices)
• Ensure shipped materials match documentation and are properly labeled and color-coded
• Interact professionally with carrier drivers during pickups and deliveries
• Transport materials to appropriate storage or production areas
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Support inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Inventory Control to support material ordering and stocking
• Deliver verified paperwork to the main office and purchasing team
• Assist production teams with label printing, scheduling, and planning as needed
• Maintain adequate shipping supplies (pallets, cartons, banding materials, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience
- Forklift experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand dollies
- Ability to read and interpret a standard measuring tape
- Strong attention to detail and basic record-keeping skills
- Ability to understand and follow quality, safety, and environmental procedures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (Major +)
- Experience working with inventory systems or production documentation
