Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior / Staff level Data Engineer to join a Fortune 500 Healthcare organization and support an advanced analytics project. This project is within GCP, and this individual will assist with leading the project delivery as well as hands on technical development and architecture design

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Backend Engineering or Platform Engineering
- Experience building scalable, cloud-native data platforms on GCP, as well as building APIs within GCP using GKE, Composer, BigQuery and Python-based microservices
- Deep experience with BigQuery analytics, containerized workloads, event driven and batch data pipelines, and production grade APIs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner closely with product, platform and downstream consumer teams
-Ability to drive architecture decisions, design reviews, and best practices for data and service platforms

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior healthcare or finance experience
- Knowledge of security and authentication patterns (OAuth2, service-to-service auth)
