Job Description
An Insight Global client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a fast-paced engineering team building modern, microservices-based applications. This role will focus on backend development with Python and NodeJS, paired with strong frontend development using React and Angular, and cloud-native deployment on Azure (AWS/GCP acceptable). The ideal candidate is comfortable owning features end to end, working across multiple priorities, and leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to improve delivery speed and code quality.
Targeted Pay Rate Range: $20 - $25/hr

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Python and NodeJS (C#/.NET is a plus)
Experience building RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
Strong frontend experience with React and Angular
Proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and state management (Redux or similar)
Experience deploying applications in Azure (App Service, Functions, Container Apps, Service Bus); AWS or GCP acceptable
Solid understanding and implementation of unit testing and standard development best practices
Experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and Material UI
Strong ability to work independently in fast-paced environments with frequent context switching
Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code
Required experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging patterns (pub/sub)
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized backend services
Experience with authentication and identity platforms (Entra ID, Okta, AWS IAM/Cognito, or GCP Identity)
Experience with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Firestore)
Logging and observability experience (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry)
Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack)
Basic DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
UI/UX or design system collaboration experience
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and WSL (Ubuntu) environments
