Job Description

A logistics organization in the Houston, TX area is seeking Carrier Compliance Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing the onboarding, compliance, safety, and security governance of third-party carrier partners across the organization. The Director will play a critical role in ensuring all contracted carriers meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, align with company security standards, and adhere to established performance, safety, and reporting expectations. This individual will partner closely with Operations, Corporate Security, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Risk, Fleet Safety, and Leadership teams to mitigate risk, investigate incidents, enforce standards, and drive continuous improvement across the carrier network.

this is a permanent direct hire opportunity paying $90,000 annually with the opportunity for bonuses.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years experience in logistics in a 3PL or Brokerage firm
5 years experience in Managing 3rd party carrier partners
Experience managing carrier partners within mutli-state fleets, operating in complex regulatory environments
Experience managing auditing and ensuring data integrity to STARS reports
Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA as well as other industry requirements
Bachelor's degree
