Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Dry Etch Equipment Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 production environment. This role supports tool uptime, process stability, and continuous improvement across multiple dry etch platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

-Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process-related issues on Dry Etch tools including:
AMAT (DPSII, DPS, MxP, MxP+, IPS, Super E, 5200), ULVAC, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini, and LAM (4400, Coronus).
-Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with standardized work instructions.
-Utilize SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) systems to monitor and evaluate tool performance.
-Document maintenance activities and contribute to improvements in standardized work documentation for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
-Manage spare parts inventory and support area operational needs.
-Take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
-Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a 7x24 manufacturing environment.
-Apply strong troubleshooting, data analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
-Demonstrate a strong aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
-Associate’s degree or higher in an engineering or science-related discipline.
-Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
