Job Description
Own and manage assigned IT projects from initiation through delivery and closeout
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and dependency tracking
Facilitate project ceremonies and meetings (kickoffs, status updates, working sessions)
Serve as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors
Track and report on project status, risks, issues, and milestones to leadership
Ensure project scope changes are documented, reviewed, and approved
Drive accountability across teams to meet delivery commitments
Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure projects align with Argo Group’s technology standards and governance processes

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager delivering enterprise technology initiatives
Proven experience managing multiple workstreams across business and IT teams
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Experience working with infrastructure, application, or enterprise systems projects
Excellent stakeholder management skills, including executive‑level communication
Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and budgets
Hands‑on experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
Ability to identify issues early, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution
Strong documentation skills (status reports, RAID logs, project plans, meeting notes)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated environments
Exposure to vendor or third‑party management
Experience supporting IT modernization, system upgrades, migrations, or integrations
Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance requirements
PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certification
Experience partnering with product owners, architects, and engineering teams
