Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Owner with an application development background to support an internal data migration tool. Responsibilities include:
-Own and maintain a data migration resolution platform, including ongoing enhancements, fixes, and performance improvements
-Identify, troubleshoot, and implement changes for platform issues and enhancements
-Capture, prioritize, and implement feature requests and bug fixes from end users
-Build, manage, and own the product roadmap for the data migration tool
-Drive feature development to support future business domain–based use cases
-Support the broader MDM platform team, including ad hoc or fringe work across other tools and pipelines as needed
-Assist with maintaining and configuring Microsoft Fabric pipelines
-Ensure the GitHub code repository is well maintained, organized, and properly documented
-Act as a technical Product Owner, bridging hands-on development with product strategy and execution

Required Skills & Experience
-1–2 years of experience as a Product Owner, transitioning from application development background
-Strong technical background with hands-on experience working directly in code and data environments
-Foundational knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL
-Experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically Microsoft Fabric
-Familiarity with data pipelines and data migration workflows
-Experience deploying applications using Git
-Exposure to or hands-on experience with front-end development built using vibe coding / Cursor
-Ability to operate effectively in an agile environment and balance technical execution with product ownership
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Hands-on experience with Cursor
-Experience with AI tools or a strong willingness to adopt and work with AI-driven development approaches
