Job Description

An employer in the Title Insurance industry is seeking a Mineral Title Analyst to join their team. This team supports large-scale energy and infrastructure developments across the United States. The Mineral Title Analyst will be responsible for reviewing materials prepared by third-party vendors and publicly available sources to evaluate mineral ownership and mineral-related risk. This individual will identify title defects, assess current and historical mineral activity, and work closely with underwriting counsel to support informed decision-making related to mineral risk. This person needs to be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Seeking a salary range of $70,000 to $90,000

Required Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of experience reviewing mineral title, oil and gas title, or related real property interests. Experience supporting energy, infrastructure, or renewable projects.

· Review and assess mineral resource maps, state and federal records, and other publicly available data to determine the presence and extent of any current or historical drilling or mining activity.

· Secure and analyze production reports, drilling permits, mining permits, and related regulatory filings for active or producing wells or mines.

· Coordinate with third-party vendors, project teams, and underwriting counsel to clarify findings and support mineral risk assessments.

· Strong understanding of mineral ownership, oil and gas title concepts, and chain of title analysis.

· Ability to identify title defects and assess risk in complex ownership scenarios.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in mineral title, land, or underwriting analysis will be considered.
· Familiarity with state oil and gas regulatory databases and publicly available mineral resource tools preferred.
