Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support a large-scale hyperscale data center construction project in El Paso, TX. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring site safety compliance, enforcing safety procedures, and proactively supporting a high-risk, fast-paced construction environment.
The ideal candidate brings strong BCSP credentials and hands-on experience managing safety on hyperscale data center or similar large industrial build projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Enforce and maintain site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Lead and support safety practices, hazard identification, and risk mitigation
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and field observations during night operations
• Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations
• Partner closely with site leadership, subcontractors, and safety teams
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety standards
• Act as a visible safety presence during swing/night shift activities

Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVES
• BCSP Certification Required
○ CSP (preferred), ASP, STC, or OHST
• 3+ years of experience supporting hyperscale data centers or very similar large-scale industrial projects
• Proven experience on data center or semiconductor-style builds
• Ability to work a rotating schedule (60/60/50 hours)
• Willingness to work swing/night shift (5:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-visibility construction environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PLUSES
• Prior operational or trade background, such as:
○ Electrician
○ Mechanical trades
○ Other skilled trades experience
• Emergency response background:
○ EMT
○ Former firefighter
• Bilingual (preferred, not required)
• Experience transitioning between night and day shifts as project needs evolve
