Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Application Developer with deep experience across Workday integrations, core HCM configuration, and UiPath RPA development. This role will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for translating business requirements into scalable integrations and automations, while helping modernize the organization’s RPA platform as it transitions to UiPath Cloud.
This position requires strong end-to-end ownership—from requirements gathering and technical design through development, documentation, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS, and APIs.
Build and enhance UiPath automations using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework, supporting HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal processes.
Own the end-to-end RPA lifecycle, including:
Collecting business and functional requirements
Translating requirements into technical designs and development templates
Building, testing, and deploying automations
Supporting ongoing enhancements and optimization
Lead API-based integrations within Workday (REST/SOAP), including data exchanges with external systems such as ADP, iCIMS, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms.
Support secure file transfers, including SFTP setup, PGP encryption, data mapping, and error handling.
Partner closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and implemented.
Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, including:
Integration and automation design templates
Development documentation uploaded and maintained in SharePoint
Test plans, support guides, and UAT documentation
Maintain and improve existing UiPath bots, including scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and exception handling.
Participate in Workday Release cycles and ensure integration continuity and performance.
Support the organization’s UiPath Cloud migration (launching April) and adopt advanced automation features as they are rolled out.
Contribute to Agentic AI and intelligent automation initiatives, applying foundational AI concepts such as document understanding, classification, NLP, and generative extractors where appropriate.
Follow the client's development standards, governance, and change management processes.
