Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Lead to join an internal IT organization supporting a large scale Restaurant Core Back Office modernization initiative. This role will be onsite at the customer’s San Antonio office and will play a critical leadership role in replacing a legacy back office system through a phased, API first architecture. The Tech Lead will guide development across React based UI workflows, core business logic, data integrations, and messaging systems, supporting key restaurant operations including inventory, food cost, recipes, sales reconciliation, and reporting. This is a hands on leadership role requiring strong technical depth, clear communication, and the ability to guide delivery across cross functional teams. Act as Technical Lead for the Restaurant Core Back Office platform, providing architectural guidance and hands on development support. Lead development of React based enterprise workflows and forms, integrated with backend services in an API first architecture. Design and implement backend services using Node.js, Java, or .NET, supporting inventory, transaction processing, and reconciliation workflows. Drive integration of Recipe Master systems, back office core logic, and downstream data consumers. Work within a messaging based architecture leveraging Kafka / Azure Event Hub to support real time data flows across systems. Partner closely with UI developers, data teams, accounting, and internal IT stakeholders to deliver phased system replacement with minimal disruption. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and direction to a team of ~6 developers, ensuring code quality, scalability, and delivery standards. Collaborate with product, business, and technical stakeholders to define deliverables, align priorities, and communicate progress.
